We are pleased to announce the launch of a Java Native Interface (JNI) package for all of our Universal Add-ins running under Microsoft Windows, Linux (x86 platforms) and Solaris (x86 and Sun SPARC platforms).

The JNI will enable you to call our Universal Add-ins directly from your Java code without needing to write your own wrapper interface to our native code libraries. This will save you considerable development time by reducing the amount of code you need to write in order to call the Universal Add-ins.

The download package also includes extensive sample Java source code that illustrate how the Universal Add-ins can called from Java using the optimal JNI interface.
