Launch of multi-thread enabled Universal Add-Ins (v10) for Excel 2007
MB Risk Management (MBRM) are pleased to announce the launch of version 10
of the Universal Add-ins that support multi-threaded calculation (MTC)
in the new version of Microsoft Excel 2007.
Whilst Excel 2007 is due for launch in 2007, users can now download a trial
copy of this upcoming major release of Excel from Microsoft's web site.
If you have a machine with dual-core or multiple CPUs, you can experience
manifold speed increases when using the new multi-threaded version 10 of
the Universal Add-ins under Microsoft Excel 2007. The speed increase during
intensive calculations is almost directly proportional to the number of
cores/CPUs used.
